[2010, 2012] Dragon Age

The Throne in Peril campaign is taken from the Dragon Age tabletop pen and paper RPG, based on the role-play video game of the same name released in 2009 by BioWare.

The story was adjusted to fit around the main protagonists of Iah and her dwarven companion Ogden- both created for our friends Aimee and Silv. This game was their personal introduction to roleplay gaming; one of our favourite pastimes, like you hadn't guessed.

The first play of the game happened in 2010 with the DM Dangerous Brian. Unfortunately due work commitments the campaign halted. It was hoped by the players that, at a quieter time in the future, we would be able to play through a few more games to bring the adventure to its natural completion and I am pleased to announce that day has come!

Two years after the first part of the game and two years after first being introduced to RPGs, Silv has taken up the torch and mantle of DM-dom and is here to finish the quest! The next instalment of the game differs in parts from the first part of the game through differing styles and lack of complete notes. As such I am using story as gamed out under DM Silv as inspiration to complete the story already laid out by DM Dangerous Brian. So far the greatest challenge has been the struggle between past and present tense. The difficulties of a writer.
