War of the Burning Sky campaign

Currently I am involved with the 'War of the Burning Sky' campaign as you can see from this title. It has been heavily adapted to fit in with the DM - Dangerous Brian's own world so can deviate quite a bit from anything official you will know of from Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition.

The tales are told here from the point of view of my character (photo above) Dara Salix Castanea- an elf druidess- who is a resistance fighter for the Free City-State of Gate Pass.

Gate Pass runs through the mountain range which sits between the Protectorate of Zama in the East and the Empire of the Arcane Imperium in the West.

Our story begins in the hours leading up to New Year. Snow lies cold and crisp on the ground and the Imperium has began to lay siege to Gate Pass- a territory that was declared neutral 40 years ago when the Imperium last made moves of the expansionistic kind. The rumours say they are securing their borders because their ruler, the Dictator Drakus Coal-Tongue, has been slain. But it is difficult to confirm at this time because the weekley teleporting courier is no longer able to get through. Teleporting magic has become a channel of fire and pain.

The Imperial Banner of the Manticore is flying in the winds of war again.
